About RSIL

Applied Remote Sensing for Agricultural Research

RSIL supports research by integrating UAV imagery, field data, and geospatial analysis. Housed in the Department of Agronomy, we design project-specific processing pipelines aligned with experimental objectives, grounded in applied agronomic protocols and current research. This approach reduces technical and cost barriers, making complex spatial data easy to adopt and enabling research programs to use remote sensing effectively, enhancing canopy assessments and strengthening traditional agronomic research.

A Complete Workflow from Field to Delivery

Our team provides an end-to-end workflow spanning flight planning, image processing, orthomoisaicking, plot-level measurements, temporal comparisons, and final data delivery. By managing the entire process, we help collaborators move efficiently from data collection to usable research-ready results with minimal friction.
